  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly recovery reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and sales teams to streamline recovery operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Intermediate degree (in any field).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in debt recovery, collections, or related financial rolesKEY SKILLS:
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills .
  • Familiarity with MS Office and preferably debt recovery software .
  • Local travel readiness for face-to-face interactions and field visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
    • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions at the branch.
    • Prepare and post journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, and inventory valuation.
  2. Financial Reporting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual branch financial statements.
    • Submit timely financial reports to the head office.
    • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  3. Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Assist in preparing the annual budget for the branch.
    • Monitor expenses and identify variances from the budget.
    • Provide financial forecasts and assist with business planning.
  4. Compliance & Controls
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
    • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  5. Cash & Asset Management
    • Oversee daily cash management and banking operations.
    • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flows.
    • Maintain records of branch assets and manage depreciation schedules.
  6. Support Functions
    • Provide financial insights and support to the Branch Manager for decision-making.
    • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, tax authorities).
    • Train and supervise junior accounting staff, if any.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting or financial management, preferably in a branch or multi-location environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
